    Great ride today!

Hi all thanks for letting us tag along for the ride today! It was good fun. What a day for it too.

As I mentioned, we're also organising rides via meetup - http://www.meetup.com/Auckland-Motorcycles/ which has a few tools that are handy for organising events and rides. Feel free to join, we're more than happy to have organisers of the ride today use the site to organise regular rides as well.

Were you lot parkef on East Coast Road, near the church before it goes to the 80 kph section on Sunday? around midday,1,2 ish?

If so - I waved from my Cage (rather hung over)

And half of you were standing on the road (although could see you thanks to your HiViz's)

What's the point in living if you don't feel alive?

Toying with ones mortality shouldn't be this much fun.

Sat 12 April a few of us are doing a ride through Old Russell Road. Non learner friendly pace.
I'd rather be sorry for something I've done, than for something I didn't do.

I guess leaving from Caltex in Dairy Flat. Take 16 then Woodcocks, then 1 to Whakapara. Old Russell Road to Russell for lunch. Any other thoughts?
It's quite a big day, so perhaps leave Dairy Flat at 8:30am? Really open to ideas here.

Another good ride (all day) is to Opononi.
Multiple options for there and back. just a bit boring through Dargaville.

I love going to Opononi. Waipoua Forest is up there in my top rides discovered to date (that's where my avatar is from). Last we checked there were several unmarked un-swept new-seal sections.
Avoiding the Dargaville straights is yet to be properly investigated.

+1 , I know it's sacrilege, but I preferred it to the Mangamuka's Although I've only done both 2 up so far.
    Ciao Marco
