    went to the bike shop yesterday and they said the fault sounds like the kill switch. if it gets knocked (possable) or there is a broken wire somwhere when it dies you need to reset the ignition, which i did.
    Its going in on Thurs for is service so they will have a good look at it then.

    its a modern bike... it could be just about anything :-)

    sidestand, killswitch, oil pickup sensor, oil pressure sensor, etc etc etc..... joy of owning a bike with more brains than most riders.. I know.. mine as well :-).

    Both my brain finds it difficult to compete with late 70's british steel My Gixxer just out thinks me at every step... Good job it always up for a run or I'd be stuffed.

    I was referring to the "brain" comparison.. silicon inside the Gixxer compared to my own natural thinking power.

    Never too worried about my abilities on a bike, etc of course for the odd online name generating parking incidents
