    They have a point.
When I dont see punctuation, all I read is:
"blah blah bah ... dont take me seriously 'cause I am not smart enough to use English properly.... Blah blah..."
    OR
"blah blah... dont take me seriously because I am a 13 year old texting from my cellphone... blah"

I didn't mind the abbreviated spellink. The use of single or a few letters (such as u/ur) to denote words has been in practice on the interwobble for years.
As this is an electronic forum perhaps boris & pdath need to get with the times.
Punctuation was put into English for a reason. So that, in written form, it makes sense, and does not sound/read like the ramblings of an idiot. Without it the sentence sounds like, well, a rambling idiot. And I could not be bothered reading past the first few words.

Thats the basic problem. In this form of communication, the only things that people have to judge you on are the content of your message, and the delivery of that content.

If the content is difficult to read, then you are unlikely to be able to put your point across effectively. To be blunt, your posts were extremely hard to grok, even in the context of origin; i.e. txt. If someone had sent me that as a txt, I would have read about two lines and then deleted it. For your posts, I don't think I even made it that far.

To have people read and pay attention to what you think, you need to present it in a paletable and readable format. That means some punctuation and sentence structure. I personally don't give a toss regards an occasional word conctraction. But without rhythm or flow, people will skim at best, or ignore, rather than actually read.

We aren't being grammar Nazis here, just asking you to make your posts vaguely legible. If you want us to spend our time to read your thoughts then please do us, and yourself, the honour of presenting them in a more coherent manner.
    /steps off soapbox :-)

Back on subject, I have been on ACC, though not recently. I seem to recall that I didn't get anything for a period. I then got 80% of my pre-tax income, which was then subsequently taxed. I also seem to recall a proviso that they could reduce it further if I ended up staying on ACC longer than the standard accepted recovery period for that injury.

However, ACC has also replaced several race-damaged helmets for me when they did that sort of thing :-)

Look I posted my post at the end of a long day, and it may have come out a little aggressively. I am not saying you are an idiot, or stupid, or 13. I am saying that when I read writing like that, I find it difficult in my head to get around that image of who I am giving my opinion to, and it makes me care less about your opinion.

    Apologies if I was insulting.

My bike is in the workshop, again, getting it's charging system repaired. Maybe in a couple of weeks again we'll get some OK weather and I can venture back out again.
