Auckland to Palmerston North - Easter Weekend

Hey gals n guys,

M headin down to Palmy on Friday the 10th early morning. Riding down to PN to meet some friends, mostly returning Sunday. Anyone wanting to come with me / heading down themselves, most welcome.

Regular breaks and no silly speeds, on the m - ways... suitable for all bikes 400cc plus.

Post here and well set up a time to meet. I'd like some company. Last time I did this. Bomma and EJK gave me an escort out to Naruwaihia, it was funn !

Am thinking to ride down to Dunedin ay but unsure how much it will cost. Plane ticket is like 400-600$ might be cheaper to ride there, would it?

grab a seat selling around 50-70 bux one way...However be good riding there...very cool

I'm keeping my options open, the R6 is a sexy bike and I only want a bike to race so if it doesnt sell soon due to the crap economy I'll be more than happy to keep her.

I'm riding me 250 from Wellington to Auckland on Monday if anyone is doing the same. Geez the arse is gonna be sore on Tuesday.

If ya let us know when ya get here maybe one of the manawatu crowd might be able to show you some of the better roads 'round there if you're up for a ride while you're in town.
Looking like a good weekend for it weather wise too, a little chilly though.
