The fact that you're willing to air your fuck-up this publically tells me, how important she is to you. Come on, Lady, can you imagine how hard it is for a man to air his shit in public like this?
We all know he fucked up, and fucked up bad. Who hasn't? and if he's willing to learn a lesson from this, the least you could do is hear him out. In private.

    Rant over.

Thats the thing about life eh,your always learning something.Wouldnt be much fun if you didnt.Mate you fucked up,you know it,now we know it,all over the world people are fucking up everyday,we all know it,thing is the world keeps turning and your a bit wiser than you were yesterday which has to be good.Personally im like a dog with a bone if i want something that bad and 2500 km isnt that far in the great scheme of things,if this thing you guys have is that good then the least it deserves is a face to face,if that doesnt mend the bridge then at least the pair of you gave it your best shot.Good luck and i hope things turn out well for both of you.

Do you mean to tell me ... there are girls on Kiwibiker?

    shit................................
its not a dating site, or relationships are us.
I think your whole post is about getting into pants, or back into pants. despite your current feelings or how the post may appear.

ask yourself, is this post about helping someone else ? or is it about you trying to get what you want or make yourself look better ?

Such a well thought out response ... the post may help others .. but with the arrogance you are showing obviously not you ... you choose to read and response therefore you must either be a voyeur or just someone who wants to be a prick - you choice. Hopefully someone else will learn from the OPs mistake and not make the same one.

Doctors are lucky. Their fsckups are buried under ground.
The rest of us just have to deal with them. Sometimes we only discover that after a while (my record is 20 years between committing the actual fsckup and discovering it), but it hurts nevertheless. C'est la vie.
"People are stupid ... almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule

    Anyone fancy a pint?

You lied - but you were in a precarious situation. Pretty human if you ask me, but what did you actually expect to happen?
Stayng in a relationship where you have to suppress your own needs to look after a partner is perceived to be a brave and good thing to do. I tend to disagree with that conclusion. More often than not doing what you want is the best thing - if that means the dissolution of a relationship then so be it. Being honest with yourself and others - and in that order - is paramount to building and retaining (self-)respect.

Best of luck mate, I am sure there will be brighter days ahead.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Remember your humanity, and forget the rest. - Joseph Rotblat
