    Do I really need bike pants?

    I think this answered my question, sh!t thats looks seriously sore.

    bring me to a question ;P? are those lined cargo pants that u can buy for bikes, suffiecent enough? i mean im only gona be riding around town til i get my full.. and i dont really wanna start going in a full gear leathers and all displaying an L plate, as i would look pretty silly lol

    Piff, get full leathers, I only ride a 250 hyobag and on my learners, and i wear leathers.

    the roads in town are often harder, parked cars, parking meter, lamp posts, gutters to name the obvious. Out in the country there is grass, power poles, cow shit, fence posts and wire....but the road surface is the same in both places.
    I love my skin, I want to keep it. If others think Im a dick wearing full leathers, then thats their problem , not mine. I dont allow my ego to dictate over saftey. I even wear one of those High Vis vests at night, every little bit of protection for me and my skin. I love myself more than I care what others think.
