the wear just seems so premature.
Just a thought but does the inside of your thumb touch your pointy finger when you ride?

Mine dosn't normally but if I'm hanging on wheely/stoppie wise it does.

I had similar happen with my gloves, it turned out a combination of the oil from my skin and the continual rubbing against the "end" of the handgrip.

Have found that because of the way I hold my grips it just seems to happen, however the one paid of QUASI gloves I have owned have been great, but still had signed of the same thing happening. Unfortunately because some lovely student decided he wanted some of my stuff more than I did I never got a chance to find out how far down it did wear.

I just wore a small hole in a pair of Held gloves. First finger left hand where the kangaroo skin constantly rubs on the clutch lever. It took four years so I'm not unhappy, and I do have other gloves.

The noise of the guys walking around above my head replacing my roof reminds me that this might not be a good time to lash out on new gloves...

Remember these where free to you
    Remember these where samples

    Carver youre a plonker
i did say that they were free!
and i do believe thanking you!
and if they were any brand apart from yours you would be bagging them too

so ditto on the glass theory.

i was only asking why they had a hole in them there!

Hang on a moment. In Quasi's defence they were prototypes/samples that didn't make the grade - for whatever reason Quasi decided they weren't good enough to bear the logo. So he gave them to you.

I think you need to ask the question of the manufacturer that wanted Quasi's business rather then Quasi who decided the gloves weren't good enough.

Maybe the reason he didn't go with them was that they wear out too fast when you toss off in them - a point that seems to have been well proven in this instance at least.

This gives me renewed faith in Quasi's brand since he doesn't accept this kind of crap into his product lines.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Quasi's products are great and are good value for money. However I still have difficulty with his general approach to people.

I'm not dissing quasi's stuff, I dont own any of his gear but i know a lot of people who do and they all love it.

But wouldn't he make it clear, at the start of the thread, that the reason he decided not to follow on with that model was because of the quality?

Then there would of been no argument in the first place.

Oh and in my opinion, they look burnt, you sure you didn't sit them near something hot as hell or something? lol.

quasi gave these to me to test, because they were too small for him (small hands small...)

    testing over

i have never had any of his gear that was any good.

well, they have never been near heat as far as i can remember.
on closer inspection the forefinger on the first glove appears to be falling to bits.
the leather seems to be coming apart as if it was layered.
