Yea Cayman, I'm traveling for 5 days.

Is that a public carpark swoop?

    Wish I could BW!

There are dedicated motorcycle parks at the International terminal.
There are some barriers around that section, so perhaps they're supposed to be for staff only...but the public are still allowed in there, as it's near the lost and found office

When I worked at the airport I used to see bikes parked there. Undercover too IIRC. Cant remember if there are any signs or not saying who can or cannot park there.

Doh, just found the apparent answer:

You have to use a normal car park ...

Aha! I see they have 21 priority parks for "low emission vehicles, or vehicles with any engine size of 1.6l or less". Sounds like motorcycle parking to me!

Well I went to the airport. I drove around for a while and couldn't spot these 21 special car parks. I asked one of the parking wardens and they have never head of them. I asked another parking warden and they have never heard of them. I used an ordinary car park, and went and ask airport information - never heard of them. I asked the iSite (info site) people - never heard of them.

It seems these car parks are the Airport's best kept secret.

Opposite the domestic terminal is some parking, both undercover and uncovered. I popped down to Christchurch earlier this year for a day of work, parking cost almost $40

Inside the undercover section was a small area for bikes, at the end of rows, not sure what the costs were with parking there...

$40 a day, FFSfor that price I'd want a naked lady draped over the bike to keep the rain off. There must be some cheaper than that....I hope, otherwise it's not worth taking the bike. C'mon there must be someone who knows the cost, I'm interested specificaly in parking at the domestic airport.

    International parking.
Ride towards the "taxi pick-up" area. Ride across the footpath to the parking area. Park in an "appropriate" area (I choose to create such an area).
    Do whatever is required.
Ride out of the parking area in such a manner that avoids the need to use anything resembling a barrier arm.

    Done.
