    Bike cameras - DVR units

I've found some cool DVR units here and talking to a few people there seems to be a bit of interest.

So there is two types I have found, one is more a MP4 player the other is a proper DVR unit with wireless camera input as well as cable AV input.

The wireless one can record in AVI, MP4 and another format that slips my mind.

The MP4 looks much nicer, has 8gb internal, but only records in mp4.

I've got a selection of cameras, they are pretty good as they are designed to be put on cars for reversing cameras, but I wanted a small one that was waterproof. They are ok though. I've only tested them in low light and they work ok. Most people would be happy with them.

Both units are $300 each. Camera is an extra $50. I'm trying to find a better option on cameras. The ones I have are ok, but I think that there is better to get. Price will be more though. All teh Cameras I have now are cabled ones. I can get wireless, but they are really expensive.

Pics to come. I'll take some sample footage when I get back to NZ (next week).

just a little to late for me. i got a gopro one a few weeks ago. it records in surprisingly good quality. it sounds like your ones are higher spec so they should be really good.
