Is anyone else with the National Bank having trouble transferring the money using one-off payments on the internet banking? It keeps telling me the account number is invalid....

just put 97 in the last box, should only have 2 digits

fyi - bank numbers are actually coded so that if you get one number wrong then it's an invalid number rather than going to someone elses account

    Ah well, not going, bugger

I have to focus all my time into modifying the CBR for the streetstock at manfield, even though theres nothing to modify as it's streetstock

Yeah but theres all that lockwiring to do... I'll be doing the same for my bike once I get some race leathers & boots that I can use on the track (cant use my road gears)

Why da fuk not? I'm using my road gear (Draggin jeans to be, and cordura jacket - or some other textile; feels fine when binning).

I don't actually plan to fall off btw!

Well... a ziped together 2 piece or a 1 piece race suit with proper riding boots and gloves covering all of your fingers, an approved helmet with no damage and a back protector is the bare minimum for a race meeting.

Otherwise you'll be told to piss off.

P.S. I'd advise even people doing just the track days to wear full protection. It's not like some pissy little tumble on the park. People can get seriously hurt or killed. It is better to reduce the chances of that happening by wearing the right gear.

I don't have "a ziped together 2 piece or a 1 piece race suit with proper riding boots and gloves covering all of your fingers, an approved helmet with no damage and a back protector" so what do you suggest I do? And go buy one isn't an option. The riding I'm planning on doing at the track is no different to what I do on the road at times. On the track I'm most likely to low side (again, I DON'T plan to give it heaps) where you just slide (mostly)...

Good textiles are fine, imho, for a track DAY...

liftback was talking about racing his 250 in street stock class. You gave your advise about that specific post of his. I corrected your advise bassed on road racing rules set by MNZ.

On trackdays it's up to you but I still say it's best to be as safe as possible.

Yeah man... the trackday you can wear road gears but I was talking about streetstock (actual race meets...). and when it comes to that, im not taking any chances. so its full leathers etc (obviously i have to have them to compete anyways but even id i didnt i would still want something a bit better than my textile gears & skate shoes)
