    Zero S electric motard

In the world of motorcycling the motard is a bike for crazies -- not packing much power but offering plenty of grunt for wheelies and other urban antics, making them quite popular amongst those who ride the city streets. They're typically modified off-roaders, as is the case with Zero X's new Zero S. (Reposted from Engadget)

Its really bizzare with no exhaust sound... Kinda boring if you ask me?

It must be extremely heavy, watch it try to jump in the video, hahahaha.

    Is

"keeping the weight down to just 225 pounds"

considered heavy for a motard. Just over 100 kilos sounds good to me

id be worried cages wouldnt hear me so I might be in more danger
as long as the economics add up I would be interested

That is indeed not very heavy at all.

But yes, not quite the same without the exhaust note.

102kg wet would be pretty light for most motards.
If you are relying on engine noise for cagers to notice you then all I can say is good luck...

I have, but these guys seem not to. I know the size of the ramp is different in this and the Zero S vid, but if you go to 0:11 on the Zero S vid you'll see a series of two bumps on a track where normal motorcross bikes would just jump from the first one to the second one, but the Zero S looks like it tries to jump but the bike just thumps awkwardly over the first bump instead of lifting into the air. It may just be rider ability though.
