    Sandpit Easter Weekend?

Anyone riding the sandpit over Easter weekend?
It is open all weekend according to the site.

I am keen to get out there with some other riders. And see how the 690 handles some of the tighter stuff.

Might even rock down the beach on the way home, depending on the tides.

I'd be keen to watch how the 690 handles some of the tighter stuff too.

Word is, Get caught goin from the Sandpit onto the beach an they'll close the whole place down?

PS beach is boring compared to the trails at the sandpit anyway!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

I ment going to the beach directly not via sandpit.

In the past i have been riding on th beachs down south with out any probs
just go slow around people and dont be a dick
a couple of times a cop has turned up and i have talked to them to check its ok never been told to go home as long as i go down to the end of the beach away from people

not sure aboult auckland cops however .....

depends what mood the cops are in I think. Been down the bombing range a few times was about 20 mins down the beach from the Sandpit. Drive down in the ute. Theyv'e blocked it off now I think? Good when I started but like the challenge of the red trails now!
