    NO not for hours
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

You won't be able to if you access the net via Xtra. Telstra have chopped a fibre optic cable in Wellington and due to connection agreements Xtra customers have no other way of getting to it, Most other ISP's have however.

    Cool

It was working damn fine this morning.... then it spat the dummy and locked me out... dang it. (Who took Sam Morgan's dummy?)

But I have been good for the past hour or so, so they have unlocked the doors and let me back in... YEHAAAAA.

Nah I'm not in Telstra so not privy to that sort of Info. Probably a contractor digging a hole somewhere or something.

Been on it all day. Must be just you
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

If anyone has been having more problems getting to Trade-me in the last day or so:

TradeMe are again experiencing network connectivity issues through their upstream provider - AT&T. Temporary routing put in place last week to AT&T's network to mitigate customer impact is not being effective at present.

No ETA for resolution, customers will experience heavy delays and packet loss to the TradeMe web site through various ISP's domestically and internationally.

Telstra have discontinued peering with the WIX, claiming that connection was costing them too much money. TradeMe is located in Wellington, and connects to the net via WIX (the fibre networks that runs around the Wellington CBD). Connections to TradeMe now go via overseas connections.
Eg here is a trace route to trademe from Ngauranga. I did this a few weeks ago just after the de-peering
