Bugger.Sounds like it coulda been a heap worse. Castrol has been known to bite really hard. Ive still got a lump from my offtrack excursion there
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
Great to hear you are (mostly) OK.
That first session was pretty damn wet. Track was quite cold too.
Came around castrol cursing the rain on my visor and holly S*** there is a bike facing me pointing the wrong way down the track. Poor GSXR lying on it's side.
Not to worry I thought - the rider will have bounced back up like the Motogp guys and be ready to go for the next session.
Then I look to the side of the track and see someone not moving and think - damn - that's gotta hurt.
Bike seemed to come off pretty well. Steve bought it back into the pits and an army of volunteers stowed it on the trailer.
Kittytamer leant his expertise- he looked at my tie-down skillz and re-did them
Get well soon.
Hey Leanne, Glad to hear you being so positive and look forward to seeing you out there again soon. The bike looked so undamaged I am surprised to hear you got so beat up!
You didn't even have to be there an you had all the blokes running around after you - the power of the boob! Take care.
Ouch! Funny how in an off we focus / worry about our gear and bike more than ourselves. Probably in part trying to take the focus away from what we might have done to ourselves! Would have been hard to hear them cutting the leathers. Sounds like your head avoided taking a knock.
Enjoy your time with Flame. Will be a good experience if you are pitside anyway.
Now the frustration of the bike being repaired before you are... Well at least you can polish her up ready for your first ride when you are both better.

Glad you're on the mend Leanne, was a little worried to see you lying there and it took a while for you to be transfered to another ambo and off to hospital and your mate reasured us you were 'ok'. Mend well, you can kill some time designing your new leathers eh!
I almost ran you over when you ran across the track. I thought I was going down aswell! your bike looked fine in the pits though.
