Went for a quick ride with the new gearing. Think I'd win the slow race. Shit it's low. Drilling holes in the nobs may not have been a good idea. Feels like riding on banana peels.

ok Key is sorted.

but..entry is at rider risk and 4x4 club takes no responsablity for any harm or damage to rider or bike.
I have to sign a form stateing we understand the risks of entry.

if the river is in flood on the coast side we wont be able to get through.
as there is a lot of clay in the vally, water will be dirty and we wont be able to tell the depth.

even the creeks on the other side at bottom of southerland hutt valley will be up. as we have had, and going to have a bit more rain before sat and looks like showers on sat as well.

im to ring rod ( key holder ) friday night and let him know if we still want the key.

keep an eye on the weather as it was pissing down here today all day long...
