Been thinking of back when my old Huntaway Podge died,he was 17 and sending him on his way was damn hard,a mate suggested getting another and at the time i was no way etc but 3 weeks later a little bundle of fluff Border collie needed a home, hesitant at first it quickly turned into another of the best things ive ever done, old Podge will always live on in my heart never to be replaced or bettered,Mac the Collie does however provide me with a more than adequate replacement,i love him no more no less,he just does it different.Just a thought, theres a heap of dogs out there that live shit lives, you obviously love dogs and can give one a great home, worth thinking about when the times right.

    Thanks TLS.
Yeah, I'll always have a soft spot for dogs, always pat other people's ones but none will ever replace my little "Jakey-dog".
Probably will get another and will definitely get one that needs a better home rather than spending on a pedigree.

Hey sorry to hear of you loss guys, been there before and are facing it again soon as both cat and dog, 15 and 14 are on constant medication to keep them going. Dog is diabetic and requires insulin every 12 hours, so been a bit of a bind for the last 5 years. Will still seriously miss them when there gone though.
Well....it seemed like a good idea at the time....

I'm glad you brought him home where he belongs. My beloved Boxer still rests on the dressing table 4 years later

It was tough going in and getting him back in a mini-casket. Thought I could handle it okay, but it gave me a few moments......

Sorry to hear of your loss. Having just recently lost a beloved cat of 11 years, know you aren't alone. The wife and I will very much miss our little fur baby and things just aren't the same without him around.

    Hang in there...

    Godspeed little buddy...

We had our cat, Nitro, cremated as well. Did you read on the back of the certificate of cremation the poem "Rainbow Bridge?" Talk about not a dry eye in this house, wow, what a poem.
