Question Can any IT types help?

Hi all just wanting some help.

I need to know how to insert a link on powerpoint to open outlook express and insert a predetermined e-mail address.

I can get outlook to open but not to insert the address.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hey BigDog,

not too sure what version of Powerpoint you are using, so my advice may be bad.

In Outlook Xp you insert a hyperlink, mailto, and the email address, just like you do on a webpage.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    In human speak please?
Sorry just trying to teach myself how to do these things

Powerpoint 97/98. Apparently it is all the same features just different skins all the way upfrom 97 onward. what you say sounds simple if I knew the right jargon.

Catch 22 if I knew the right jargon I probably would not need to ask *humiliated*
    Self teaching can feel like
But you feel a real sense of victory wheen it finally works.

Under the insert menu, select "insert hyperlink"
the text of the hyperlink should be "mailto:emailaddress.com"
and the display text can be whatever you like e.g. "click here to email"
