    Cheap chain?

my RG250 has emerged from the shed after being stored for 10 years. It goes; took some nursing to get going, but it goes.

however, in case it shits itself when i ride it, i don't want to spend too much on parts. And it needs a new chain (lost the last one, probably during a house move).

So - where's the best place for cheap chain that isn't flash - no o-ring stuff - the sprockets are old; and will need replacing in due course if the bike is put back into regular service.

    many thanks.

Bikes shops are the only place to get a suitable chain.
I'm picking you just want a std non O-ring 520, or 525 chain.
    set you back about $50.
Wont last long, but will get you rolling.
I'm picking your in Akld, so cycletreads, or any local shop should have them in stock. (they will be split link type chain, so put the joining link on the right way).

Yeah dead right -- I got a DID 520 chain from Cycletreads, $40 or $45 or summat, even with the clip-link and they lopped it off to size for me (except they miscounted, d'oh!). Marked `Heavy Duty', we'll see how it goes, old sprockets as well, no point waisting a good chain on them.
