My Dakota has claimed my All Blacks bean bag.
She is growing fast and her fur is get more poofy but is still silky and nice.
Every night she likes to do a sprint circuit around our lounge, kitchen and dining room area.
I love her very much but mum says I need to 'get over her a bit' I wind her up a bit apparently...meh...goes both ways and we both love it
She has just had her nose fur trimmed so now we can really see all the mischief in her eyes

Maybe get her done professionally every second time until you've got the hang of it? You'll need good quality scissors and some clippers. Have a look on TM, you will probably get some good ones.
    errrrrr... clipping????

Her fur really great actually...appart from the whole awesomeness of the not shedding and my being not allergic to her, it's also silky and doesn't yet seem to knot or dag.

Need to get better at being brushed though - tends to want to eat the brush and the hand that holds it

MsK I meant to show you a pic of what her coat would look like so see attached of a similar crossbread spoodle.

The one on the left it's baby pic looks like Dakota!

So fur wise I plan to just groom the face and when I have to the bod but if I can get away with it we wnt to let it get long like the attached.

Ummmm, because although Spoodles might not do it, Poodle (and other non-shedding breeds) fur just keeps growing and growing and growing. You have to cut it. Okey dokes?

She has reached her maximum height, been fixed and had a facial haircut...we need to get clippers though - she moves around a bit too much to get a smooth finish with the scissors!

A few close shaves later and my Dakota has just survived her first year without developing any icky traits or ailments Dogs are cool - I totally recant my previous thoughts that cats were cooler than dogs...seriously she is way more of a family member than any of the cats bother to be!
