Thats exactly what this guy said the other day ! Ive been down that highway a few times, I used to own a couple of silvia's.. But mate picture a retard riding a hornet and thats meI can ride sweet but then I do the funniest things
Maybe there not the easiest bikes to learn with but meh the bikes good Im not
Yeah haha the brakes sure are good ! So far Ive just hit the front brake abit hard coming to a stop a few times it must look hilarious.. Hey I went to a local bike shop yesterday to ask about the choke system. He said the reason why my revs drop when I turn the choke on is because Im over fueling it (running it rich as the weather is to warm for it (the choke) to work. They also said the 2,000rpm idol is way to much so they dropped it down to 1300rpm. Its easy if you want to know how?
G'day, yeah I agree plus there not small like most other good 250's.. And they have the quality factor over the Hyosungs.
The wind was the first thing i noticed when I cruised the highway, let me know how the givi screen feels !
Thanks for that and I will enjoy the hornet it would be impossible not to

My initial thought is that the choke lever seem to be in reverse? Not a technical person so don't know if what you were told in the other post you made about the shop suggesting over-fuelling is true. I know my lil' ol'hornet revs high when choke is ON (pulled towards me when I'm sitting on her), and cuts off slowly when the choke is OFF and if the bike is cold. It idles at around 1k once warmed up, choke off.
My Bandit came with a wee Givi Screen that i put on for longer rides. I think the overall force of the wind is less, But there seems to be more wind noise as it is more disturbed after hitting the screen. Keeps most of the wind off chest and shoulders though and its ajustable so maybe I should have a fiddle with the angle its set up next time.
Welcome to KB and riding, the Hornets a good choice, well done , ride safe and enjoy yourself.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
