Yep, cheque is now cashed.....and, I dunno how the fuck this happenend, their valuer must have been a bit drunk, I was paid out more than I paid for it!

Hmmmm, what do I take from all this? Well, um, I dunno, I was treated really rudely by staff, had to pay an extremely rediculous excess, and then had a very good payout......(which kinda just made up for the excess but i'm certainly not sniffing at it!)

Where to from now? Well, i've moved to vero, still no horror stories have been whispered into my ear about them, and the bikes with kiwibike now......

All in all it worked out in the end..........

So, maybe I was a bit rough with AMI? Dunno. I don't really think so, they certainly redeemed themselves with the payout in the end, but god i'm glad to be with another company now!

Fix a computer and it'll break tomorrow.
Teach its owner to fix it and it'll break in some way you've never seen before.

After being with Vero for 6 months with the GSX600, I discovered that my bike was only covered for theft from my own garage, provided it was secured by three locking devices. Supposedly a comprehensive policy.

I rode it every day, parked outside work and sometimes worked into the small hours. It was uninsured. Read the contract carefully.

That's a bit bloody dodgy, bikes with Kiwibike now though (swann) Have you had/heard of any issues with home/contents car insurance?

Yeah! Threw me off guard a bit, after the reception I recieved over the phone and after a recent thread of another member getting ripped off by them (well they tried to) I was more than worried, hence my instant thread typed up as it was happening........

Can you be done for that if you are merely stating fact and it's written as it happened?

I have written also a finish to the story which makes them seem not so bad.

I could very easily have lied and said I was having problems being paid out....so is it even deffimation of chracter?

Yeah well, the payout was just what the doctor ordered! (speaking of which iv'e got some loose cartillage in the old elbow still, still hurts like fuck I should really get it looked at I suppose......)

New insurance co. well I won't know unless I make another claim, have gone kiwibike now and my parents have nothing but good things to say about Vero.....

New bike, fucken awesome, love it, especially with the new headlights (I hate the single light not my thing) Makes it all hugely worth it in the end! Makes me smile every ride!
