    Aprilia Collector modification

Well thoughs that have RSV Milles from 99 -03 & belong to AF1 aprilia forum will no doubt have seen or heard of this mod to do to the collector on the bikes & with all the other stuff I have done to mine this was going to be next once I found a spare set which came up on Trademe for $150 . Got to make my set on saturday morrning & put them on for a road test to see how much difference they would make form stock & boy it has really woken up the bottom/midrange shit loads as well as help the top end as well . Was abit worryed that it may alter my fueling but it seem to have helped it by making it even smoother in town so bloody excellent . I guess without pictures it didn't happen so have added afew for those keen to try this mod themselves .

    Two things.

    1. Interesting that a simple cross over pipe made such a noticeable difference.

    2. Nice welding there - yours?

Nice work. Any reason you didn't link the rear header also?

I did this last year on my Tuono and combined with a Gabro F255 chip really wakes the bike up.

    .
Ah - he has - the new pipe connector links the two headers before the 2-1 collector.

It is common to add two link pipes, connect the front cylinder to the rear and also the rear to the main collector as seen below.
