Suspension too soft, pressure too high (38) or both?

38 was probably a little too high for the track but it looks as thought they heated up I normally run 29/29 pressure in my tyres

Those look like the OE Bridgestone BT014s.
If they are, that's just how they seem to wear.
I changed to Metzeler M3s for my GSX-R600 and they've lasted much longer, at much higher speeds on the track. Grip is at least as good as well.
Although, for summer trackdays - looking forward to trying Bridgestone's 003 Racing Streets.
