    Question What is this?

    Found this at beautiful Henderson Bay [Klingon Kountry!] actually found 2 but this is the better one. No idea what it is tho I did bet Mama Jo that it was a shark egg. If I'm right I get a new fishing rod. [She wouldn't do bike parts!] It is hollow, but dried out, light in weight and shaped like a molar. Pretty sure it isn't man made. Any ideas?
    Edit; Oops I'll add the photo!

    Is it solid or squishy? I thought at first it was a breast implant until I read your description and opened the pic

    Scratch the squishy query - you have said dried out.

    Good call, someone told me it might be a jelly and the beach was covered with bluebottles. However I can't find it on google and it was nothing like the bluebottles!

    Probably because sharks don't lay eggs...

    They have 3 methods;
    1, the sharks are live born and gestate in a womb like state. Same as us.
    2, the sharks are live born but there are no available nutrients in the womb so they cannabilise each other til there is only 1 or 2 left at birth.
    3, the sharks are laid in eggs that usually have a method of attachment to protect them such as being screw shaped or having hooked ends

    Jellyfish!

    A few years ago a German backpacker at H-Bay got stung by a herd (school?) of them, had an allergic reaction and drowned.

    I believe that bit in the pic is a kind of buoyancy bladder arrangement (although my knowledge of jellyfish anatomy is not that great...)
