    Dangerous goods in tunnels

So im driving down the motor way the other day and see a sign the says, "no dangerous goods in terrace tunnel" and that got me thinking.

If the police or who ever does transport for the prison are carting a serial killer to there new home where ever it may be are they conciderd to be dangerous goods?

They are dangerous people and they are also the drivers goods, so to speak.

Enlighten me please with your thoughts on this.

This is my assumption as to why.
Dangerous goods usually refers to explosives, acids and otherwise volatile substances.

Excess gene pool scum probably doesn't count.

    Unless it's Jaggernaught.
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

DG regulations exempt products used in the transporting vehicle. I.E. petrol in the tank or the acid in the battery.

If however you are carrying petrol or battery acid for 'hire or reward' then the D.G regulations do apply, but if you are a private person (not a carrier) & the volume of the product is low then you are also exempted.

Mmm, I did know that. I just figured if we were being pedantic about criminals being dangerous, we could be pedentic about everything.

    Brake Fluid!! That's dangerous too.

wimmen joggers are a traffic hazard so does that class them as DG's too?

I'd suggest putting them under class 9

    But wait - there's more!

IF you homebrew fuel (biodiesel as an example) you need about 5000 pages of safety data sheets etc to make sure the finished product is all properly contained, there's adequate fire protection, spill containment... yada yada yada...

...unless you put it on a trailer... that falls under vehicular storage which is fine - do what you like!
