    Welcome onboard PTM.

I'm sure there will be plenty of people on here from your area that can give you some pointers.

Hi PTM, welcome to summery wellington :)

so you're just getting your learner licence? You'll need to
    • get your Basic Handling Skills certificate; and
    • do your motorcycling road code multiple choice scratchy test

I did my BHS with RoadSafe out in a carpark in Petone, and then the road code test (plus eye check, getting photo taken and so on) at the AA shop on Plimmer Steps / Lambton Quay.

Once you're ready to take your restricted and so on you can book your test online and take it in a couple of places at least - there's Mt Victoria or Kilbirnie for a start.

Hope that helps a bit anyway
