    1050 radiator guard

    Hi there

I am wanting to buy a radiator guard for my 1050 speed triple (2009). I don't like the triumph ones, would prefer something that looks like it will actually stop a stone!

I have an Evotech Performance radiator guard on my Shiver. It looks like a factory item, came with full instructions and all the extra bits I needed and was really straightforward to fit. It turned up in under a week.

I highly recommend this firm. Give them your business!

Just use a solid piece of plywood and duct tape it on. It'll work a treat..... for a while?

One wonders why manufacturers position radiators just so, yet make no effort to protect these fitments from the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.

Its called supporting your stealerships parts division.Put a rad guard on my TL shortly after buying it way back and its still on the original radiator, not bad for a Vtwin.

Stealerships parts departments generally don't stock radiator guards, nor do they show the remotest interest in sourcing items that involve unnecessary work. I don't know why their parts dudes can't leap on the Internet and do the ordering, then clip the ticket on the parts they supply the customer -- just the same way they do with stuff that comes from their distributors.

"Sorry mate, can't help," doesn't cut it any more with me I'm afraid.

Thats my point, they will however sell you any amount of new radiators.Ive been lucky in little ole ommers in that the guy that own the local stealership has gone well out of his way to help me source various bits n bobs that have held little or no profit for him,i repay him by taking all of my motor vehicles to him for anything i cant do myself as he services cars etc as well.

Back in the old days (1980's) bikes came with radiator protection.

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round
