Recently I scored a 1986 GPZ600, UK import, Kermit green, very pre-loved and it had been stolen recovered. I managed to get it to start but it would not idle and had to run on full choke. However it sounded OK when the revs got up so I warmed it up then drained all the fluids. At the moment I am waiting for the new tank and have seals and kits on order while the frame is at the blasters. Also the fairings are all getting plastic welded including flushing off the indicator mounts as I will be fitting LEDs somewhere unseen! Meanwhile I have painted the motor and set tappets and replaced thermostat and o rings etc ready for the frame to be added. Stupidly I didn't take a "before" photo!

As a GPZ owner (or maybe it owns me) I appreciate what you're doing there, you very nearly have encouraged me to start a winter project ... very nearly. What are you doing for exhausts? I need to sort out something on mine, they're falling apart - just wonding if you have any tips of places to get suitable aftermarket but not too expenisive 'zorsts.
