    Bye bye, little buddy...

Had to say good-bye to my little Minature Foxy "Jake" on Saturday, just before I had to leave for the Bucket grand prix.
He had just had a seizure and had been going downhill for the last few months. However, 15 years old is a good innings. So, Mrs Nudey had to take him to the vet and I got a call at the racetrack to say it had been done.

He was the most sweetest, playful and affectionate dog you could get. Also had the typical "small dog, big nuts syndrome" that they have

So, bye bye little dude. Have fun up there and pee on god's furniture instead !!!

That is sad news mate. Foxy dogs would have to be the cutest little things. I have had 2 now, my last one is still going at age 14, slower to be fair but still trying to keep up with her bigger counterparts from time to time. I had to let her go when I moved back into town, she was a country dog, and now she lives with the RD postie, gets spoiled rotten and I get to give her a pat every so often.

Sad to hear your little guy is gone, he looks a real trickster! It's amazing the way animals wheedle their way into our lives and our hearts!

You made a difficult but good decision for your little pooch. I think there's nothing worse than seeing animals that are really unwell having their lives prolonged.
My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.

Having made the heart breaking decision to have our 14 year old dog put down a couple of months ago, you have my sincerest sympathy.

Happy memories can be a wonderful salve.

    Thanks people
I think it's going to take me a wee while to get used to him not being here.
I'm not as strong as I thought I was.

Sorry to hear about your Dog, we have three at home and I wouldn't be without them. It is always such a hard decision to make and they leave such a big gap. I hope you have lot of photo's and wonderful memories.
