think spies might aim for a full factory ride, not a satallite one.
yeah, I can't see whore-hey getting the flick tho..
New rule for MotoGP next year being mooted that rookies must ride for a satellite team, cannot ride for factory team.
But seeing as Spies has already competed for Suzuki in MotoGP that makes him not a rookie and effectively can go to any team that wants him.
Personally I can see Yamaha ditching that anchor weight Rossi in favour of a largely untried (at MotoGP level) rider from WSBK (whose riders traditionally underachieve in MotoGP) halfway through 2009.
Mark my words!!.......
Heheheheheheheh
Besides, what makes anyone think that Spies can do any better than Toseland in the category? Toesland was the great white hope when he started, and Poncheral was saying just the same things about James as he is about Ben. Now look at what people are saying.....
"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." John Ono Lennon.
"If you have never stared off into the distance then your life is a shame." Counting Crows
"The girls were in tight dresses, just like sweets in cellophane" Joe Jackson
Rossi has said he is looking at a career in Rally at the end of 2010.
As for Lorenzo getting dropped to the Tech3 team, I can't see it. Time will tell i guess...
I think Spies would perform very well within the Tech3 team actually. Collin Edwards has done better within that team than any other, I think Spies could consitantly put the bike at the front after a few sessions on it.
