I get the feeling the problem is the fact that someone wanted to make some money out of registering the NZSBK domain name but didnt get what he wanted so now he's a bit a of a cry baby

    so wrong

Enigma ,you are so wrong its laughable, the domain name was registered by Jim Tuckerman as i understand it, he received nothing for it ,took nothing out of it and the decision to shut it down was not taken by him.the site was administered solely by Ian Dawson, he shut it down at the end of the road race champs for reasons that are well explained here.

Had mnz had a properly functioning web site ,nzsbk probably would never have come into existence ,you might try asking Paul Stewart that one ,
The current MNZ site has areas completly out of date and nzsbk left it for dead.

Ian Dawson never looked to make money out of site nor did Paul Stewart or Jim Tuckerman nor is Ian looking to do so now,

Instead of trying to run down the efforts of a team of people who gave 100% plus ,look instead at ways you can contribute to improve the sport of motorcycling,at the very least you owe Ian Dawson a big apology.

Enigma, you are SO far out of touch its passed being funny - obviously no fault of your own that you are in such a state of blissful ignorance, but the fact remains that you ARE ignorant - the Road race Commission to a MAN are honest, trustworthy and reliable, and to infer otherwise puts a GIGANTIC magnifying glass on your motives.

If you cannot accept that the people involved were acting in the best interests of our Sport, step aside .........

ACTUALLY WE BELONG TO MNZ AN INCORPORATED SOCIETY WHICH GIVES US AS MEMBERS THE RIGHT TO QUESTION ANYTHING THAT IS PERCEIVED TO BE NOT IN THE INTERESTS OF THE MEMBERS. WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO FREELY QUESTION IN ANY FORUM WE CHOOSE IF OUR ELECTED BOARD AND PAID EMPLOYEES MOVE AWAY FROM THE STATED DIRECTIONS OF THE MEMBERSHIP.
ONE OF THE BIG THInGS ABOUT LIVING IN A DEMOCRACY IS THE FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION, NOW PERSONALLY I MIGHT FIND YOUR INSINUATIONS OF ROAD RACE COMMISSION MEMBERS SHUTTING THEIR SITE DOWN BECAUSE THEY WERE THROWING THEIR TOYS OUT OF THEIR COT INCREDIBLY OFFENSIVE ,BUT I CAN EXCUSE YOUR IGNORANCE

WHAT MEMBERS ARE TRYING TO DO IS MAKE PUBLIC WHAT REALLY HAPPENED,
nO ONE IN MNZ OFFICE OR CEO GOT SPONSERSHIP FOR ROADRACING PAUL STEWART ACTING AS COMMISSONER DID,
MNZ TOOK AWAY WHAT FUNDING IT HAD GIVEN IN PREIVOUS YEARS.
NO ONE IN THE OFFICE OR CEO PAID FOR TELEVISION PAUL STEWART AND THE COMMISSION RAISED THE MONEY FROM THE DISTRIBUTORS AND SOME DAM GOOD PRIZESAS WELL

SPONSERSHIP PAID FOR THE WEB SITE NOT MNZ
SO INSTEAD OF SNIDE REMARKS, AND PARDON ME IF AS A RIDER I WOULD RATHER HAVE HAD SOME DISCUSSION AS WAS PROMISED AT LAST YEARS AGM BEFORE WE BOUGHT A CAR PARK

hOW ABOUT YOU REALISE THAT WHAT A PUBLIC FORUM IS FOR IS TO AIR THE TRUTH.
YOU MAY NOT LIKE IT BUT THE TIME HAS COME TO MOVE AWAY FROM PERSONALITIES AND LOOK AT THE PEOPLE WHO REALLY HAVE THE GOOD OF THE SPORT AT HEART

Actually the people at the sharp end of organising the road racing nationals did an excellent job.

Steady on there lady no need for shouting.

As a member of the KB public (which is a sad thing) i am just pointing out that maybe there is more to the story than just chow's version and have moan on the wonderful world of kb is most definitely not the place.

No one like the mnz's current state but its not its first month of bullshit. We have all seen it before and every time some one bitches on kb it gets worst.

Yes most of the people on the sharp end of the stick does a fantastic job and mr chow and fellow members are right in complaining but complaining on kb is not the place.

You wanna make a stand make the nzsbk domain a public forum for racers where race and management can be talked about in a public forum by those who it most affect.

Would be hard to do worse than AMCC's recent performance [for example]. We have had their president on-site mouthing off about what a bunch of coonts KB contains, the same coonts who marshal, race and provide constructive criticism to a club and president still living in the 70's............

Ask yourself this Kickaha: if NZ sportsbike racing is in such sound shape why are we constantly barraged with 'crisis posts' and bitter recrimination from racers, spectators and supporters alike?
