    I,me missing something here.

To leave the site static for a few months until things were decided would cost a hosting fee per month about the same as the $20 bet being offered.........
So who infact pulled the site off-line ? & why ?

Dude, i think the points being made ( by those not involved, honest orrificer, we're not MNZ spies ) are that this forum, as wide reaching as it is, may not be the place to be bitching about the sport.. best intentions or not. You look like a pack of whinning women...

    winging women?

shame on you,i would have said desparate men myself,

the point i for one am trying to make is that this is a public forum and as such the perfect place to air and exchange views, they may be totally opposing but you can air them

there are many dissatisfied members of mnz, who cant air concerns anywhere but in a public forum because at present you air even a mild concern to the office and you get either totally ignored or become the recipient of a i dont like your tone e-mail and there are some classics of those floating around,

if taking a stand and being open about the fact there are major problems not being addressed at mnz labels me a whinger so be it,
im therefore a whinger if i expect the office that represents my sport to act in a professional manner,
im a whinger if i expect to see an accurate accounting report.
im a whinger if i would like to see the commissions run by the commissioners and the group of people that they gather around them with assistance and not hindrance from the office,

mnz has been run like a secret society for too long, how come motorcycling in other countries still manages to have minutes of board and commission meetings on their website so every one can see whats happening.

Im not blaming any one person here just a set of circumstances that have been allowed through unwise leadership to deterioate,so if asking for an honest attempt to do more than wring our hands ,
whip up witch hunts and launch personal attacks on members with oppossing views is whinging im right up there with the best

Communication is a vital tool that mnz is appalling at,its time to reasses our goals and work methods and move on ,other wise mnz will wake up one morning like the Druids society and discover theres nothing left ,
the membership has found better uses for their money,

ENOUGH SAID I THINK, lets all go with Jim Tuckerman, and work with what the industry wants, not what our PAID staff members think we want

Well said. You can't discuss concerns at a race meeting...because everyone is ermm...racing. Aside from race meetings, at what other place would you find lots of MNZ members discussing ideas? Obviously a select chosen few members of the secret society phone one another but the rest of us would be totally in the dark about half the stuff that happens in MNZ were it not for this very site.
