as for the cement on the back, dems' fightin words matie.. The only reason I can think of it being a benefit to put cement on yer bike, is to make it sink faster. yer goin down

Thats a good idea. Who ever runs it will have to cover their costs and a $1 on top for KB sounds the go.

Great news folks --It turns out the taupo racing club will lend me the flags I need and part of the track hire is cement and brooms.

Micrisis has offered to be recovery vehicle driver and supplier.
He's got a tail lift truck with capacity for about 6 bikes-
He's offered the truck for anyone needing bike transported down.

SP man has offered his services as HEAD MARSHAL . Hes going to be in the tower timing the track sessions and keeping the marshalls under control.
Joni has offered to be a marshal

Speedmedic is helping me with medical staff and Firefight is sussing out firefighting gear.

Douggie is going to be available to offer experienced advice re bike setup and will be head instructor.

Barby wise Ive had a couple of suggestions but noone putting their hand up
but Im happy to pay for the food if someone wants to organise it

I can loan a BBQ and gas etc, but I've no way of getting it down.
It would take to room of a bike in someones van or whatever if they want to take it.
Otherwise, I can bring a cylinder, if somebody can bring a BBQ.
Failing on all of the above, I've got a wee camp stove and a frying pan.
    Place your order now!

If anyone needs to utilise the the truck ex Auckland just PM me so I know, very easy with the tail lift to get them on and off and I will have plenty of tie downs on the truck.

Frosty has promised me he will take me for one ride round the track on the back of a bike at lunchtime.
I'm really looking forward to meeting you all again.
