All they need is a track for the track days to start. The complex certainly wont be finished by the time the track is open.

Yeah well. I'd like a track with tar-seal on it and sufficient kitty-litter in appropriate places.....not that I'll be needing the kitty-litter...well, not often, anyhow.

But I'm hanging out to do a track day. Might have to go to Puke on an open day; you know, where they allow cars, bikes, tanks, trucks etc, all on at the same time. Be just like riding on the motorway.

No way in the world am I going near Taupo with that resin shit on the cracks.

Um nah they split them up, bikes only go out with trucks over 20t, and fixed wing aircraft.

I had a few minor slides on that stuff at Moto tt last month, didn't like it...

As for HD, it was still a giant dirt farm when I looked 3 weeks ago.

A mate attended the last TT track day missed the patches all day............................except for once! Sky, track, sky track etc.

so i am guessing if the track isnt finished there is no chance of World superbikes next year then as they had to check out the track before putting it on the calender?
