WSBK and Moto GP on Sky this weekend

Just had a look at the Sky TV times for both the WSBK and Moto GP this weekend and FFS they are both on at the same times on different channels. Wish I had My Sky now.

This weekend would be the one time I would be happy if they delayed the racing because of golf or cricket, like they seem to do at times.

There is going to have to be some serious co ordination with a mate on this one............ Cant tape both of them.

    Bitch over.

Soooo rumour has it that Rossi is a bit put out with the fact Lorenzo is getting the good oil aswell and is likely to leave the team at the end of next year. Potentially to end his career on a ducati.

This might also make sense, what, with Spies taking the oppertunity to break into motogp with a start in the tech 3 team... if rossi DID leave then there would be an opening for the newest hero of team yamaha in the factory team.

I can understand Rossi wanting to finish his days on his countrys trusty red steed, but for the love of me I can't understand why he would entertain riding a bike that has proven to be so unpredictable for other riders.

Given his ability to communicate with the tech people and help develop a bike, I'd like to see him on a Suzuki and perhaps get them out of the hole they seem to have dug for themselves over the years.

Further on Spies joining the (big boys) of racing. Can anyone remember a SBK rider who consistantly finished in the top order of motogp in recent years? I think they miss out on something by not rising throught the ranks of 125's and 250's like the likes of Stoner, Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Dovi the list goes on.

Im sure the kids got talent... scratch that, I KNOW the kids got talant, i'm skeptical however that he will be able to translate the success that he has had in SBK to a future in Motogp, i feel another colin edwards in the making (god knows how bad I want to see edwards win just ONE race before he quits the top tier)

This is of course, conjecture and rumour for now.

As much as i like moto gp,i've gotta agree with ya.

FFS,...There's only 17 bikes on the grid the last time out,and it always ends the same way.

Superbikes are the go especially seeing that Ducati is winning the Championship at present and they also have bigger feilds, and you get 2 Races with them and not 1 like they do in Moto GP.

If Ducati can't win with an extra 20% more engine capacity then the other marques, then what rule are they gonna come up with for themselves next?

How much extra a month is My sky over normal digital sky?

I might have to invest in My sky,as its a lot to sit through to catch both superbike races, and the supersport aswell.

Supersports are a good watch. They have a huge number on the start grid.

While it's not recent...Rainey, Lawson, Revin Kevin and Doohan all came from Superbikes. Stoner is also like a lot of the fast Yanks in days gone by is ex flat track...or dirt track. Just like Mladin. I think if you're truly good...you can ride anything.
