Clarification on NZSBK website

The current Ceo is apparently saying that the NZSBK website was paid for by MNZ. This is BULLSHIT. The money that paid towards the site was from sponsorship money raised by Paul Stewart.Although paid by a MNZ cheque!

MNZ have no hold over the site either in name or content. The site has gone off the air , due mainly to the fact that we came to the end of the term and also the budget ran out.It was not shut down for any other reason.

Let me make this clear:

MNZ STAFF HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SITE.IN FACT THE CEO WANTED IT NOT TO GO AHEAD LAST YEAR? I had to fight for it to get the funding , and it wasn't even their money in the first place.

How do I know this? Well I set it up and ran it. I would like to thank Lynda Blair for all her efforts on race weekends over the last two years.

The NZSBK domain is owned by Jim Tuckerman and Motorsport Network Limited.

Another rumour from Huntly which I hopefully can put to bed.

Thanks Chow. I was actually told on the phone by some one important that MNZ had PAID for that site!

Must have been a mistake by the person I was talking to eh

If it werent for they good hard working people like yourselves who genuinly seem to want this sport to continue and thrive in the current environment, we would all be lost.

Have been thinking about another analogy regarding what the CEO said about the website , he isn't wrong yes he signed the cheque for funding after a fight, but he didn't earn the money. Paul Stewart generated the money, just remember that.

It's like many households one partner earns the money and the other spends it.

The only reason the money even went in to the MNZ bank account was so Paul Stewart would keep everything transparent regarding the money trail.
There is no reason really other than that the money even went there.

I'm laughing, there's obviously a witch hunt underway, but Chow; unless you do the accounts and have been privvie to all the CEO's undertakings how do you know exactly what arrangement was/is in place between the CEO and the monies paid/owed?!

Best be sure ALL your ducks are lined up before u start shooting 'em...

ps. I don't race and have no affilitation with racers the MNZ or the CEO but washing your dirty laundry in public ???

I was asked to comment on the site by some people who matter . People who know me know that I don't blow my own trumpet very much, so Mr Boomer please don't comment on something you no nothing about.

Ok, firstly its 'know',

Secondly, you're in a Public forum and i'm able to comment as much as i.. yes I like.

Thirdly why be a voice for others, expecially when you obvioulsy dont have all the facts? being a pawn is ..well.. just that.

And lastly, wether you blow your own trumpet or not doesn't really tell me if you have all your ducks in a row; does it? i'm inclined to think you don't. and i'd bet $20 that you'll find yourself with libel charges sooner rather than later ( pawn or not )

And it would seem funny that if MNZ had the foresight to pay for the Website without the Commission Team fighting to make it happen, wouldnt you think that they'd have the initiative to put a LINK to it off the official MNZ website ? ....... tell us, how long DID it take, Ian ?

KB Is hardly the place to post stuff like this up. The only thing it highlights is the state of the current MNZ. I think formula 1 has even less issues.
