    Hone Harawira goes overboard

Sadly not as in "thrown" and "with concrete boots" but rather losing it at a student while lecturing in Hamilton....

He said Mr Harawira used obscene language like the "f" word and statements like "my big black ass". "He's just a rude ... thug," Mr Baron said.
    HTFU but...

"He just lumped Maori in with other minorities like homosexuals and Asians. I pointed out to him that we are not a minority, but tangata whenua. He tried it on and he got his comeuppance."
This is true. Homosexuals and Asians are treated as equals by our (retarded) legal system. Unlike Maori, who are given special treatment all the way to Parliament. Literally, in Hone's case. I was going to say that Asians and Homosexuals tended to be educated, polite and have a strong work ethic except that would imply Maori don't - which, obviously, is a viewpoint we're not allowed to hold any more.

But at least I can describe Hone Harawira as a man with a big black ass now.

EDIT: I forgot, go check out his website. I've tried it on two different browsers (Safari 4 is "beta", see) and on both of them it's ..... wrong.

I think the need for maori specific seats is quickly becoming irrelevant. If they can't vote their own representatives into government then they shouldn't get any special representation.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
