    'Nother new guy

Hey people, I am Brett. I currently do not have a motorbike...but I love them and am on the hunt for one ASAP!
I can't make my mind up on what I want. The CBR250RR is a lovely machine but a bike such as an RGV250 is sooo much cheaper!

I will be getting one soon, and these forums have been very very helpfull so thank you!

Wow, finally 1st to give welcome post!!

Hi, welcome to the site of loons, goons, and toons!

I'm sure you've gone thru some threads already and you'll have a good idea of what you are getting yourself into!

As for your bike options, The CBR is a good learners bike and looks pretty cool too. The RGV is a good speedster and I'm a fan of 2-strokers but there are maintenance 'issues' with them. If you are technically savvy you'll be sweet!

    Happy bike hunting!

    Welcome

    Hey Brett, welcome.

There are lots of threads on buying a bike, have a look around. Till then, I can recommend the CBR250, a great allround learners bike, and pretty darn quick for a 250...

Here's my first bike, which I've since sold: '87 Honda CBR250
    Have fun buying a bike
    See ya,
    Dave.

    Welcome, Brett.

All the best finding a bike. Are you new to biking or an experienced rider looking at getting another machine after "the long drought"?

    Wilkommen to the site

The CBR is a nice bike and will probebly suit you, the RGV being a 2 smoker will be almost twice the power of the CBR
