    Great pics

You could probably sell them to someone like Air NZ for their inflight mag.

    Nice one guys
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

yep will do - keep an eye on the moon rise and phases - there has to be an angle where we can get a nice moonrise over the city? i haven't found it yet.

There's a treally good shot to be had at sun up, city bound on the NW motorway, if you could stop at the foot of the Patiki offramp.

The harbour bridge lines up with Rangitoto, reflection off the water, cityscape from the west and the sun warming the clouds a little...

I'd get it myself but... well.. I haven't yet...

I have been thinking the same thing actually. I've seen some shots that would have looked awesome, but didn't have my camera and didn't have time to go back. Well not any more!! When the weather has some nice 'summer' evenings for the last few times, hopefully there will be a few shots waiting.. Just giz up to an hour warning next time you fancy some company, I'd be more than happy to tag along..

I prefer taking night shots in bad weather, the small amount of availiable light reflects off the clouds and makes for some interesting photos. Right after heavy rain seems to be a good time.

Also after 10pm your not allowed on the yacht club car park down by the base of the harbour bridge, all the signs saying that it is under constant video surveilence are true. Got kicked outa there by security one night.

Ha - I know what you mean - One of the great things about being my size and look, is that I 'flexed' on him and literally told the guy 'You can see what I'm doing mate, so just f*** off and i'll leave when i'm finished, OK?'

Whist he was pacing back and forth deciding what to do, I got one of my favourites ever.

Then i exited, stage left, before reinforcements arrived.

I'd got about 30mins of clicking in before being told to bugger off, so it didn't bother me too much, I was just amazed that somewhere that claimed to be 24hr video surveilence actually was.
