A middle aged fella at work wanted to get back into biking for under $5000 last year so I got him onto a Scorpio. Loves it. He went to Akaroa on it a couple of times and even did the trip on one occassion with his girlfriend on the back.

yeah, not to bad considering the price. Done a honest 15000km, last 12mths younger brother used it to commute to dairy farm, may have put buyers off as it was covered in mud form shingle road. In bits in garage , for clean up , engine service, needs new chain, sprockets and rubber cush drive for hub. Few other minor things to do ,but otherwise a good buy .

rumgirl cried, gone out for 15min's, came back to a frame with a engine in it sitting on garage floor.. decided to sort everything in one hit

Young mjscorpio had a fantastic run out of hers, offered her one of my bikes a couple of times & admit wasnt looking forward to riding the 250 but it totally surprised me!!
Excellent handling & was no slug at all,I loved it on the Summit road, and mj rode over to Woodstock with a pac rack & all her gear. There was a Harley,Matt on the GS1100 & me on the Ducati & young mj in our group. It went sooo well. She rode her bike all the way to the Coromandel when she went back to varsity
I am hugely impressed with these bikes
