If you use them now and then, you'll see the queue of bikes you're holding up when you're filtering like a nana.
Nipping up the central reservation at high speed just catches drivers unaware, and makes us all look like cunts.
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.
