I dont really have a choice, I have to break an engine in.... Anyway it will probably be really stink on Saturday as well, suck it up I say!

Yep, assuming we can get through the desert rd I'm pretty committed to being there. I need some time to set the bike up. If anyone wants to share the cost of renting a garage please let me know.

Hard to believe that it was only 12 months ago Katie & I rode up to do my first winter series race.

Monday
Showers, some heavy and squally with thunder and hail until later this evening. Easterlies, turning southerly this evening.

Tuesday:
Cloudy periods and occasional showers. Winds turning westerly in the morning.

Wednesday:
Fine breaks, but a few showers developing in the morning.Westerly winds freshening.

Thursday:
Often cloudy with a few showers. Westerly winds,tending northwest.

Friday:
Period of rain. Northwesterlies, strong for a time.

Saturday:
Further rain or showers. Northwesterlies.

Will they still let us leave the bikes in the garage till Saturday??

Me show somebody fast lines??

Maate, I'm worried about the basics of reference points, vision, throttle control etc... But the only way to get this racing stuff sorted is to get out there and give it a bash eh

My understanding is that it is still cool to garage the bikes until Saturday.

Hmm have racebike in van--have new leathers. Have need to show people what lines NOT to take round Taupo.

Actually now the truth is out --The phrase OVER MY DEAD BODY was heard comin outa Jorja's mouth.
Theres a real hoodoo on me and Taupo track anywhere near my birthday--summat about 2 birthdays in a row in a hospital etc etc
