Thumbs up MNZ AGM opinions voiced

    Hi all,

For those unaware, the MNZ AGM is to be held in Wellington on the weekend of May 23rd/24th.

During these AGMs, workshops are held for the various codes covered by MNZ and discussion is held on how to further improve each code.

I will be in attendance as there are some areas of concern for me, particularly in the Superbike class but all road racing classes are of importance.

If anyone from Auckland has any concerns or ideas they wish raised, but can not attend, I propse we hold a meeting sometime in the next three weeks and I can take all your formal ideas with me.

It would make sense even for the people who are planning on attending the AGM to make their point of view know for not only discussions sake but so we're all on the same page.

Everyone keen on having such a meeting with me, please let me know.

No offence but only current MNZ members please, as technically they're the only ones who have any right in a say.

Meeting will not be held on the weekend of May 16th as we'll be racing at Taupo.

Good to see you are taking an interest Trashy.

One point I would make though:

In the past anyone who wished to have a say, has been welcome at the Road Race Workshops at the MNZ AGMs. You only have to be a member to have a say, when they go into the Official part of the weekend.

I would be interested in attending a meeting in Auckland, if you can get one off the ground.

    AMCC hold a club night every Thursday from 7:30pm in their club rooms at;

    6 Findlay Street
    Ellerslie, Auckland

Perhaps that might be a suitable location/time for the meeting

    Just saying

Thanks for the heads up mate. I'm actually gonna be home on these dates so I'll have to try and find a way over the hill. Is there an agenda or schedule of events or something somewhere?

Yeah mate, agenda will be posted on the MNZ ebsite for all to see.

Grey Beard, thanks for your support mate. You are correct, every MNZ member is welcome to have their say in the Workshops, however I'm aiming this at those who have suggestions or concerns yet will not be able to attend.
