    VTR 250 with fueling issues

    Hi all,
Just did the Rimutakas today and my bike backfired a few times.

Its got a RPS pipe and i suspect its running LEAN.

Anyone had any experience on tuning them for a/m pipes? eg needles etc

BTW im running 91 octane, and read all the threads on the fuel I should be using.

    thanks
    Rob

Crackle-pop backfire is normal for the vtwin on overrun. Is this not what is happening for you ?
