Arrow Honda Hornet 250 for SOLD!

    SOLD!

Well, my baby is up for sale!

"Hornets share the same basic engine as a CBR250 but have been tuned to provide more mid-range power which is more useful in everyday riding. Very nimble, easy to control and loves going around corners. Great learner or restricted bike that is suitable for most sizes and fun for all experience levels with power to keep you entertained as you progress. Full sized which is visually very similar to the 600 and 900 Hornets with the fat 180 rear wheel, people are often shocked to find out its a 250. It has all the looks but with the economy of a 250."

I bought this bike last June from another KB'er and have loved every second I've had it! She is a bit scratched up and dinged but it's all cosmetic; she's mechanically sound.

    Technical info:
Previous owner dropped it at slow speeds in the rain (white line) – exhaust cover damage, scratched engine cover, ding in tank.
Fork oil and seals changed July 2008
New sprockets and chain October 2008
New rear brake pads November 2008
    Religiously serviced every 5,000Km
30,000km service by Takapuna Brake & Automotive (26/2/09): Brake fluids changed, carbs balanced and tuned, air filter cleaned, new spark plugs, coolant, oil and filter.
    Ultra-Bright headlight bulb
    Zeta hand guards
Currently has a Pirelli Diablo up front and a Bridgestone 021 on the rear
The bike also comes with 3 keys and an English owners handbook

Just passed a WOF last week with no worries!

I really wish I could keep her and get a new bike; but sadly funds cant stretch that much. Drop me a PM if you want to come and view her, pic's will be up ASAP.

Edit: you can also get knee-down on them!

I know this bike since it was purchased (coz I helped purchase it) and I can vouch that it is in top mechanical condition that always been taken care of by its owner

I can also vouch from my 250 hornet experience ( I rode one for 30 000km) that the hornet is not a slow bike and can keep in front of may supersports bikes in the twisties if you know how to ride the twisties
