I was going to suggest GeoNet too!! Well whaddaya know!!

Although I like this part of the site better cos then I can see all the graphs over the last day. You can even compare to other drums near by and try to see how far it got...

First site I went to when Te Anau/Queenstown had their big ones.

I move away from a City built on a massive faultline, and long overdue for a monster earthquake to a City that's built on 40+ volcanoes.

I have been on in a plane out to White Island and, on the way back to Rotorua, White Island/Mt Edgecomb/Tarawera/Ruapehu are almost in a straight line.

Don't worry too much about the next earhtquake - we're well overdue for an ignimbrite eruption.
Don't worry about that either - we'll all be pretty much fookt.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Faark that was a sudden jolt. Normally they rumble... I said to the kids - felt north west to me.... sure enough just above us (in j/ville). One of the kids thought we were teasing him by moving the couch.

And ladies... you should'nt admit or even joke about a mans domain - farting. After all, aren't 90% of farts caused by men?

it's all about intensity, and how deep it is. Then there's the after shocks that rock

I obviously missed the thrust of your point & shock of shocks, guess who has to clean up after & guess which one got their rocks off (first)

Try being out at White Island on a boat that goes as slow as fuck when the Island dedcides its time to release energy. My thought was at least we filled our scuba tanks other side of the island...sulpher free...i can make it...I know I can....

As for an earthquake soon....I am guessing that Mr Deuce created a new fault line

I love a good earthquake, one that rattles the walls, shakes the floor and general rocks the pictures of the wall. Of course there's a mess to clean up afterwards - but it'll give you something to talk about for a while
