cant help sorry dude, but i can say that wanganui cemetary circuit will be spread over 2 days from this year i think. was in the paper the other day, they want to try and attract more people to the event, which would be good.

You are kidding right? Is there some kind of competition where the last one to post a thread on KB about road racing probs in NZ wins a million bucks and no one told me?!?!

    Well in a nutshell..
The numbers are depleting to quite low levels in the premier National classes, due to various reasons including financial, low sponsorship, few spectator numbers, low promotion and exposure and others placing the future of the sport in jeopardy.

Some though are trying to gain support by having 'sponsorship required...' in their kb signature in the hopes that some philanthropist will be surfing the kb racing forum and decides to give them lots of dosh.

There are some proposed rule changes moving in the right direction but also causing some anguish at the same time. When they are finally sorted though oil will only be a commodity afforded by the very wealthy and electric bikes will rule.

The issues are too wide and varied to discuss in one thread, hence the various threads on various subjects. Also, different people have different issues that they're concerned about.

Go and read the ones that ineterst you would be my suggestion.

For me, you've got the fact that the current road race commissioner is not seeking re election and is taking most of his team with him when he leaves. His reasons for leaving are of concern to alot of people but I don't know him so can't comment. What I do know is he's done a fucken fantastic job and without a suitable replacement, there are some very dark times ahead for road racing.

Another concern of mine is the hurried proposed rule changes to the SuperBike class that don't seem to have been thought through too well. The addition of an "Open Sport Production" class is welcomed by me, but to then de tune the superbike class so the only difference between the two classes is suspension, slicks and full exhaust system is madness. Why the hell introduce the new class in the first place?

Anoth thread was started so someone could defend against what he perceives as personal attacks on his brother.

Another started so that questions could be asked directly of MNZ management in a serious and upfront nature. There have been to daye no respondants from MNZ.

Someone else who is extremely gay started a poll asking who we'd vote for in the MNZ managment election. Voting papers should now actually have been received in mail boxes so stop polling and start voting you clowns.

A thread was started about the fiasco that is the situation between MNZ and the Marlborough Motorcycle Club.

As I said, go read what intersts ya, I could be here all day and I've got shit to do....
Vote David Bain for MNZ president
