    RVF400 & CBR400 race bikes for sale

I will be putting a couple of race bikes on TradeMe next week, thought I'll post them here first to see if anyone is interested an would like to make me an offer before I auction them.

    Bike 1:RVF400NC35
The starting bid will be $2500, no reserve.

Good stuff: Very well sorted, cut down wiring, modified airbox and jetted carbs, race exhaust, modified subframes, steel braided brakelines, double-bubble screen, new chain and sprockets, new battery, reliable torquey v-four motor, cool noise, tank signed by Aaron slight, cheap(for an RVF)

Bad stuff: standard suspension(although very good for a road going 400), needing tyres soon, 18inch rear wheel.(any VFR/RVF owner will know that 17 inch rims are hard to come by. This is my number 2 bike, but I only have 1 17inch rim so unfortunately this one gets an 18 incher. Dunlop and bridgstone still make really good tyres for these though)

The photo's show the bike almost completed(will be done this weekend). It's just got primer paint on it, so the new owner can paint it whatever colour they please. The front wheel is not of this bike as I only put it on to take the photo's. This bikes wheel is exactly the same but has a BT090 on it.

This is a chance to buy a good basis for a competitive F3 bike.

    Bike 2: CBR400NC23
The starting bid will be $1500, no reserve.

Good stuff:It's cheap, typically reliable strong CBR engine, race exhaust, jetted and sorted and seems to go surprisingly well, alloy subframe, new battery, it's cheap.

Bad Stuff:Suspension, needing new tyres soon.

    Good first race bike.
I had one of thes as my first race bike, and then went onto a fireblade. The fireblade seem so much easier after trying to push the wee 400 around a race track.
    Ideal bike to learn on.
