    Mobility Scooters

    Hahahahahahahahaha

I have just heard on the radio that Nelson and Blenheim Mobility scooter club (WTF??) Are getting together in support of the first mobility scooter race for over 70's in Blenheim.

    Hahahahaha

Only here in the south Island. I have to take time off work and take the video camera.

    yep

ZM is running it I think... My car radio has that "radio text" or whatever you call it. It scrolls the message "Mobility Scooter 500" I'm not sure if it is only for over 70's, they said it was high or super octane mobility scooter racing.

    haha

They're not friggin scooters anyway - they'd be more accurately called "carts" seeing as they're more like an electric golfcart than a scooter...

I hates em, hates em I does.
    Nasty little wrinklie carts....
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I wonder if you can rewind the motors for more go, like the old slot cars.
Mobility scooter burnouts and wheelies, Yay!
And there's already been a hit and run by a scooter rider in Orewa. Where Else.

That's a crack up, not the sort of thing you could attend if you were hanging out for big crash action. Mind you, it might not take a lot to break a hip or something if there's contact.

I'll give the orthopedic surgeons at my work a heads up... They can watch from the sidelines, business cards in hand!

I have a video of some LunarTick (TM) who put a GSXR1000 engine in a gocart. This thing is fricken insane!!! You could surely fit it into a bigish mobility scooter???

I always thought it would be pretty cool to have a hotted up mobility scoot. Instead of rolling around at 10km/h with 2hr battery life, what about 50km/h for 15min?

Woah! That's great! I want to enter!!
I want to get one and set it up for off road use, like big suspension, knobly tyres, high ground clearance, etc.... Oh - it could even have a styley flame paint job. That or skulls with denches.

    Arrow What next?

Formula Mobility or WRC scooter champs or World Mobility Modifieds?

I see this old dude on a pimped out chopper mobility scooter on the way to work all the time, it's got chrome guage cups, and it's a trike with suspension and everything!

It might sound funny But there is an old folks home down the road from us and the residents there have the latest kit. Those things are seriously quick beasts.
