Talking 2006 Triumph Bonneville Black - bloody awesome bike

    Triumph Bonneville Black - 2006

    New Zealand new

    Hello,

I am moving overseas, and as much as I would love to take my Bonneville with me, it is up for sale.

I bought this Bonneville new in 2006 from AMPS in Auckland. It is set up for the long haul, with a better headlight, louder horn, windscreen and big top box. You can ride for hours and hours and hours and then some more. I have been all over New Zealand on this bike with no problems at all.

Fuel economy is 20 to 22 kms per litre with 95 octane petrol (at a sedate sensible pace).

This Bonneville has been regularly serviced at AMPS. And I have taken better care of it than I do of myself!

The bike is easy to ride, handles well and has a good amount of power. The front and rear disc brakes stop it very well. It sounds great. Thumb the starter, warm her up for a bit and then you are good to go!

You can also join the NZ RAT (Riders Association of Triumph), which is a fun group with regular rides and social evenings.

I am including all these extras, as well as some spare parts that I have. All this would be worth a fair chunk of change to buy separately:

    Extras:
    Givi A620 windscreen
Givi 45 litre top box with backrest and integrated brake light (you will have to install the brake light connector properly)
Custom made rear carrier rack - stainless steel with cnc machined bits
    LSL frame sliders
    Engine bars
    Center stand
    Fork gaiters
    Norman Hyde bash plate
    Clutch lifter cover and boot
    Kuryakyn throttle boss
    Upgraded and relocated Hella horn
Upgraded Hella headlight and reflector bowl (with original bulb that came with this bike)
    Visibike running lights
Avon roadrider tyres (almost new rear, a few thousand kms left in the front)

    Spares:
    Gear lever
    Front brake lever
    Gear shift toe piece pin
    Throttle cable set
    Clutch cable
    Front tube
    Rear tube

    Other bits:
Old rear tyre and tube (tyre still has a bit of life left)
Several carbon dioxide cartridges for puncture repair kit (cartridges only, not the repair kit)
2 x Motul tyre repair cans
    Motoline saddle bags
Assorted cleaning products (polish/wax, chrome cleaner, chammois, etc)
    Workshop manual

For peace of mind, I will complete the change of ownership online via Land Transport's website. There is a fee for this, which I will pay.

Payment options are cash, bank cheque, direct debit online. The entire amount needs to be cleared before ownership is changed and keys are handed over.

    Thank you!!!

    Thats just sad.

No man should have to sell his Bonneville.
Ride it until the wheels fall off...
